Fractional motorcycle ownership in the South of France

Based in Cannes, the Columbus Club gives members access to a special selection of luxury motorcycles at a fraction of the ownership costs. Our fleet is made up of highly desirable machines covering most motorbike segments. Be it a cruiser, adventure bike, sports tourer, naked bike, roadster or modern classic you are after, we have a bike for you.

In return for an annual membership, we cover the cost of depreciation, insurance, servicing, maintenance and storage. Most bikes are less than a year old and serviced to the highest manufacturer standards.

Membership is simple. You pay a monthly fee (12-month membership) and in return get a credit to use on our bikes and services. Nothing more and nothing less. We offer two membership levels:

Membership example

• Simon from Nice uses a scooter for his daily commute to work. Although the scooter is practical, he would love a machine with a bit more “vavavoom”.
• When Simon starts to dream about different bikes, he is quickly brought back to reality when he calculates all the costs involved with such a purchase. So instead, he joins the Columbus Club as a Platinum Member.
• To get used to riding a motorbike again, he reserves our classic Ducati Monster S2R.
• Simon rides the scenic coast route to San Remo to enjoy a “gelato” at the yacht harbour. He then takes the long way home via some “twisties”.
• In the evening, he calls Columbus to pick up the bike from his house in Nice.
• Simon's €2,500 balance is charged €230:
  • €170 for a day on our Ducati Monster S2R.
  • €60 for delivery & pick-up to his house in Nice.
• This leaves Simon €2,270 to spend. He is already planning his next trip with his wife on a BMW R 1200 GS.

Better than buying

Please make the calculation yourself why the Columbus Club is financially more attractive than purchasing these bikes yourself. Should you not use up all your credit, members can carry over 50% of unused credit to the next membership year. Membership is valid for 12 months.

Booking

To ensure members get to ride their chosen bike, we advise to book in advance. Bike availability can be checked via email. We will get back to you in less than 12 hours. If a particular bike is not available, we will upgrade you at no extra charge. For easy access, we can deliver your chosen motorcycle by van to any location within 200km of Cannes at a mileage cost of €1 per kilometre. Alternatively, you can pick-up your chosen bike in Cannes.

Insurance

Our membership fee includes third party, fire and theft insurance. All members must be 25 years or older and have had a full motorbike licence valid for riding in France for at least 24 months.
