Drive and come alive with more mileage for your money

The Columbus Club provides exclusive access to the latest motorbike icons on some of the world's best roads. The South of France offers a pleasant climate all year long and is easily accessible via Nice airport. In return for an annual membership, we take care of the cost of depreciation, fully comprehensive insurance, servicing, maintenance and storage. All bikes are less than a year old and serviced to the highest manufacturer standards.

Membership is simple. You pay an annual membership fee and in return get a credit to use on our bikes and services. We offer three membership levels:

Membership example

The following example gives you an idea, how members can spend their credit:

Our Titanium Member Per lives in Oslo. In March, it's still quite cold for riding in Norway. Therefore, Per and his brother decide on a South of France trip for a weekend. Both want to improve their riding, so they opt for a personal guide plus helmet cameras.
Our chauffeur picks up Per and his brother from Nice airport and brings them to the hotel in Cannes. There our guide outlines the tour on their selected motorbikes: a BMW S 1000 RR, a Ducati 848 Superbike and a Hypermotard for the guide.
The days are spent riding along the Route Napoleon, up the Col de Turini and over to Italy. In the evenings, they sit together analysing the video footage.
On the last day, our chauffeur picks up the brothers from the hotel and brings them to the airport for their flight home.
Per's €4,000 credit is charged €1,380:
- €390 for 2 days on the BMW S 1000 RR at €195 per day.
- €390 for 2 days on the 848 Superbike at €195 per day.
- €500 for 2 days of guided tuition including the Hypermotard and helmet cameras at €250 per day.
- €100 for the Nice airport chauffeur transfers.
This leaves Per with €2,620 to spend. With the cold climate in Oslo, Per can't wait to tell his friends about the trip and show the videos on YouTube. Eager to further explore the South of France, he is already planning his next trip on a Triumph Rocket.

Better than buying

Please make the calculation yourself why a Columbus Club membership is financially more attractive than purchasing any of our bikes yourself. There are no restrictions on how to spend your credit, e.g. bikes, chauffeur rides, personal guides or extended trips. Should you not use up all of your credit, we allow members to carry over 50% of unused credit to the next membership year. Membership is valid for 12 months and can be paid monthly.

Booking

To ensure members get to ride their chosen bike, we advise to book one month in advance. Bike availability can be checked via email. We will get back to you within 24 hours. There may be times when a particular bike is not available and we will do our best to ensure an alternative is provided. In order to provide good availability for members, we limit membership to six members per bike.

Bikes can be delivered at any time to any location within 100km of Cannes at a mileage cost of 1€ per kilometre. Alternatively, you can pick-up your chosen bike from us in Cannes.

Insurance

Our membership fee includes fully comprehensive insurance with a €2,000 excess. The excess can be reduced to €1000 subject to completion of a one-day Columbus driver training. The course is billed at €650 per person. Standard rental terms and conditions apply, i.e. all riders must be 25 years or older and have had a full motorbike licence valid for riding in France for at least 24 months.

Becoming a member gets you more than just fine bikes. We can arrange a variety of exclusive activities. This includes wine tasting with a renowned oenology professor, car and motorbike manufacturer visits in Italy, golf, yachting days, track days, skiing in winter and more. Fast lane access to the Monaco F1 Grand Prix and Mugello MotoGP can also be organised.
